Jeff Hardwick: Owner

After being born and raised in Vestavia Hills, I unknowingly began my career in the animal industry at the age of 15 under the guidance of Dr. Mark Kidd at Kidd Animal Clinic. I worked for him through high school and college. After graduating from Birmingham Southern and working in the steel industry for 6 years, I left to manage the kennel at Kidd Animal Clinic where my passion for animals and working with people gave me the idea of possibly a partnership with Dr. Kidd. Our goal was simple and engraved into me by my apprenticeship under Dr. Kidd. We were to respect the animals, clients and our employees. We wanted the dogs to be well taken care of, have fun, and feel comfortable. With his blessing, he agreed to lease the kennel to me. The Pawms Pet Resort started in March of 2007. With hard work and a dedicated management team we’ve grown since then. We're opening up our fifth location in Tuscaloosa in December of 2022.

I have a wife, four kids, and a goofy puppy named Homer. Homers a sweet and playful pup that loves attention.
